Enduring Hurricane Sandy, we have all shared moments of kindness this week (and frustration). As we get powered up in Central NJ, there are many more in complete distress, homeless, powerless and relying on donations to help get their feet back on the ground. Aside from having some seriously delicious pizza, Nomad Pizza is also a strong community supporter and has often donated proceeds of sales to local libraries like the Princeton and Hopewell Public libraries as well as local public and private schools. This past Sunday, the 1949 REO Speedwagon truck fired up 300 Pizzas for volunteers and local families while partnering with Princeton Partners in Union Beach to help those hit quite hard by Hurricane Sandy. On Tuesday, November 13th, they’ll expand their efforts to give back and donate 50% of proceeds from Pizza sales to the NJ Red Cross.
This includes sales from the Philadelphia restaurant as well as their spot in the Boro.
This is a great way to come out and support the effort for Hurricane Sandy relief in NJ. If you can’t make it to dine in, take-out orders will apply as well. Doors Open at 5pm. Nomad is first-come-first-served & a BYOB (in NJ).
