Princeton Daily Pastimes 6/28

How are you spending your weekend?

If you are in the mood for some Jazz, head out the Grounds for Sculpture where BD Lenz will be playing contemporary jazz Friday Night. He’s an amazing guitarist and tickets are $12 (includes parking) so you can’t go wrong.

Depending on this crazy weather, the Lambertville Fireworks are a great option for a start to the weekend. First blast goes off around 9:30pm Friday Night. http://princetondaily.com/event/fireworks-lambertville/2013-06-28/

This is the last weekend for the Sports and Youth Festival in North Brunswick. If you are up for rides and entertainment check it out. Open each night until the 30th of this month.

Feel like “picking”? Check out the Estate and Garage Sales on PrincetonAds where we have several to choose from.

Try something different and take the kids to Hunter Farms north for Grand Prix Jumping Show at 2pm. The pot is $30K and there are free pony rides and face painting between 11-2pm every Sunday.

Nothing says summer like fresh NJ produce. Brick Farm Market is a great place to stop for breakfast and then stroll around Hopewell or take the kids to Gazebo Park. Our recommendation: Any pastry or the potato and bacon hash.
There is also the West Windsor Farmer’s Market every Saturday so grab your reusable bag and some cash and support local farmers.

Enjoy!
