There’s always a weekend and always fun stuff going on in the Princeton area. The weather is looking good so plan on getting out this weekend!

Snipes Farm in Morrisville, PA is kicking off their River Roots Festival tonight at 5pm with music starting at 6:30pm. This is a family-friendly concert featuring local performers Stephen Dijoseph, Eric Waldman and the Boiled Owls. Saturday gates open at 11am and there is great music all day and end wrapping up at 11pm.

Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed is hosting their 13th Annual Butterfly Festival on Saturday from 10am-4pm. This is a very family-friendly event with live music from Miss Amy and the Dadz, hayrides, insect safaris, local food vendors, crafts and several zoo and butterfly exhibits. Have a little one? Dress them up for the Butterfly and Costume Parade that takes place at 12:30 and again at 3pm. Full details on our Events Calendar.

Looking to get out and enjoy the weather? If you haven’t been to Duke Farms, this is a beautiful park open to the public with free admission. If you like to Bike, bring it along and enjoy any of the paved or gravel biking/hiking paths that take you around the 18 miles of varied habitats and structures. You can visit the orchid garden that has over 1,000 orchids, participate in their geocaching program or just walk around and enjoy the weather. If you don’t have a bike you can borrow one for free using their bikeshare program. Just be sure to go early because on the weekends all bikes are gone by 11am.
