The 10th Annual Sourland Music Festival is this weekend on July 21st (rain date). This is one of our favorite events of the summer. If you live in area or want to invite some friends to visit, you should go. This event is hosted by The Sourland Planning Council which purpose is to protect the ecology integrity and resources of the Sourland Mountains. Proceeds go back to the mountains we love.
Every year this gets better and the music line-up is awesome ranging from blues and rock to acoustic singers, jam-bands and local songwriters. This is a super laid back family event located on the beautiful polo fields at the Hillsborough Country Club. There is plenty of space so bring a blanket or chairs and some snacks and enjoy great music in the open air. Leave your bubbly at home, there is beer and wine served at the club and a fun golf cart ride complements of the event planners to take to up the short walk to the bar.
There is plenty of room for kids to run around, so bring some balls, kites or whatever you want to entertain those bundles of energy. Local food vendors, artists and businesses will be there as well.
